Glastonbury, one of the world’s most famous and loved music festivals, came to a close last night for 2017. Finishing with the musical genius of Ed Sheeran, the crowd were treated to a spectacular send off. One man and a guitar took over the pyramid stage and showed that with his level of talent and charisma, he can pull it off.
Another extremely popular act over the weekend was newly reformed Busted, who are back to their original line up. The British band produced a surprising reaction from the crowd, drawing in 10,000 fans to the Avalon tent, which is one of the smaller tents available and given an afternoon slot to perform.
Aside from the astounding musical line up of this year, Glastonbury is also known for it’s fashion. Kate Moss has famously attended many times and became the shining example of what to wear to a festival. When she wore Hunter wellington boots in 2005, the crowd followed suit and since has become one of the most prominent brands spotted at Worthy Farm. Since the trend of festival chic develops each year, all eyes are on the wealth of celebrities to see what outfits they have carefully curated to achieve both the comfort and style that is needed for such an event.
In 2017, it comes as no surprise that the bag of choice seemed to be a Hunter backpack to match their festival-goer wellington boots. However, for the general public, the currently on-trend belt bags also proved a popular choice for those who wanted to keep their arms free for their ciders. Here are some of the best styles (and handbags) to feature at Glastonbury this year.
Stella McCartney spotted wearing her own creations, including her denim dress and platform brogues, which she has paired with a simple cross body bag.
Suki Waterhouse, Margot Robbie, Alexa Chung, Cara Delevingne and Adwoa Aboah all opted for Hunter backpacks.
Meanwhile, Millie Mackintosh opted for a chic Chloé mini Marcie bag.
